    Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Security Specialist supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. The right candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Directorate stakeholders in implementing appropriate classification management efforts (at the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral levels) by providing approved classification guidance, release procedures, and marking criteria.
    • Ensure that sound classification management practices are implemented and applied to support special security mission.
    • Update and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Controlled Access Program (CAP) classification guidance through various media.
    • Share knowledge and experience to facilitate effective practices and increase staff awareness of best practices.
    • Provide timely classification management expertise to resolve complex classification management issues.
    • Maintain personal classification expertise through collaboration with ODNI and IC classification management communities.
    • Develop innovative techniques to implement training and compliance with established classification management policies.
    • Participate in related training, informational briefings, and assist in responding to related agency taskers.

    Qualifications

    Clearance Required: TS/SCI

    Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 11-14 years includes >5 years within DoD/Intelligence Community.

    Required Certifications: Must obtain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification IAW DoD Manual # 3305.13M within 1 year of service start date.

     

    Skill Requirements:

    • Extensive experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional security areas (e.g., personnel, physical, industrial security; computer investigations; classification management; operational security; security education, etc.) based on the specific needs of the task.
    • Experience may be broad based, crossing multiple markets (e.g., government, industry) and may also include relevant and associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices.
    • Directs the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary related to the specified security field or security discipline.

    Desired Skill:

    • Demonstrated classification expertise in an Intelligence Community agency’s controlled and/or special access program’s strategic planning and communications efforts.
