    Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Enterprise Watch Officer supporting an Intelligence Community Client on an Enterprise Management outsourcing contract.  The watch officer will be the direct representative of the Technical directorate in charge of IT infrastructure operations ensuring both the systems and infrastructure are able to support the customer's mission. As a member of a dynamic team of technical managers, watch officers ensure the health and integrity of the IT and Communications infrastructure by expeditiously and proactively managing all high impact system issues to resolution, ensuring critical operations remain uninterrupted.


    The right candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.


    • The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate system issues to senior management through both written and verbal communication.
    • Strong IT understanding of network protocols, the OSI model and the interdependencies of server applications and network operations.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and understand the customers IT infrastructure through computer based and on the job training.
    • Must have a basic knowledge and understanding of the US Intelligence Community and Department of Defense organizational structure and associated missions in regard to GEOINT.
    • Candidate must be able and willing to work shiftwork; within a mission essential 24x7 shift environment.
    • Brief the on-coming of all scheduled/unscheduled outages and events.
    • Provide managerial, operations and support services to an infrastructure that operates on multiple networks, systems, applications and servers.
    • Performs daily/nightly network, system, application and server monitoring.
    • Perform fault isolation, troubleshoot customer problems, take customer calls and enter them into Remedy.
    • Facilitate technical exchange meetings over a broad spectrum of IT systems, applications, network topologies and protocols.
    • Perform daily and nightly checklists and update system procedures.
    • Make decisions based on impacts to operations and sets the priority of work in accordance with the customer's mission critical services.
    • Report significant outages to the government customer and keep records in the daily log.


    Clearance Required: TS/SCI

    Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3 years of experience

    Required Certifications: COMPTIA SEC+ certification or higher

    Shift: 6pm-6am (Nights) Panama shift
