    Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Portal Developer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. 

     

    The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission focused software utilizing modern software languages and tools, such as Java and JavaScript.
    • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters. Use Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git development operations, collaboration and source control tools.
    • Support creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development and testing.
    • Identify potential roadblocks and develop around them.
    • Plan and estimate development tasks and work to improve performance metrics.
    • Develop maintainable code that matches specification.

    Qualifications

    Clearance Required: Top Secret

     

    Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience

     

    Required Skills:

    • Demonstrated ability and experience with Java, JavaScript, and object oriented programming.
    • Experience with at least one Relational Database Management System (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies.
    • Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.
