    Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Security Systems Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. 

     

    The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages the company's firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
    • Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools. 
    • Safeguards the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction or disclosure.  
    • May research, evaluate, test, recommends communicate and implement new security software or devices.  
    • Implements, enforces, communicates and develops security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications.  
    • Provides information to management regarding the negative impact caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.  
    • Provides recommendations on information assurance engineering standards, implementation dependencies, and changing information assurance related technologies.

    • Provides information to management regarding the negative impact caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.  
    • Provides recommendations on information assurance engineering standards, implementation dependencies, and changing information assurance related technologies.
    • Supervises lesser-experienced information security professionals.
    • Prepares evaluation reports. Recommends remedial action.

    Qualifications

    Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly

     

    Degree and Years of Experience: Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the fields of mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science and 5-7 years related experience; or Master’s degree with 3-5 years of experience
