Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Master Scheduler supporting a long-term contract for an Intelligence Community Customer.


The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.


  • Interact daily with technical leads, program leads, and other stakeholder leadership to gather data for incorporation into specific task schedules
  • Provide daily updates of milestones and task achievements in the program Issue Trak system
  • Using MS Project, build individual schedules for 25-30 simultaneous tasks in plotting the time, resources, and funding variables
  • Perform program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, and schedule variances using Gantt, PERT, and milestone charts
  • Build and maintain a program-level integrated master schedule which includes major milestones, periods of performance, completion rates and deliverables.
  • Monitor schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances, and provide a bi-weekly report summarizing the variances
  • Propose processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling to include the automation of task reporting and schedule creations
  • Develop and maintain schedule artifacts and other program documentation related to deliverables to the customer
  • Attend and or support project meetings and actively participate and lead scheduling discussions
  • Assist the risk management reporting including tracking of project issues, risk avoidance and risk mitigation


Clearance Required: Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI


Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business administration (or equivalent experience) with 5 years’ experience in scheduling


Required Skills:

  • Microsoft Project experience plus two (2) years' experience working as a Microsoft Project Server Scheduler
  • Three (3) years supporting DoD on Intel customers on mid-level task projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and other network drawing packages
  • Excellent organizational skills demonstrating the ability to quickly complete a task and move on the next task with minimal direction
  • Requires a detail-oriented, self-starter with demonstrated teamwork, organizational, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to source and synthesize large volumes of information from various stakeholders and apply sound reasoning and analytical skills.
