Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Full Stack Software Developer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer in Lorton, VA. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualized environments. You will play a crucial role in optimizing performance, ensuring high availability, and supporting various virtualization technologies to meet customer requirements on both classified and unclassified networks.

 

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in software development to support enhancements of front end user interfaces using react as well as Java RESTful backend services (SpringBoot, Hibernate).
  • Developing and directing software system validation and testing methods using Junit
  • Use industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, and Unix Bash scripting
  • Document and Perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments
  • Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies
  • Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within a Cloud environment.
  • Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases
  • Analyze (through proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs
  • Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices
  • Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness.
  • Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities
  • Apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers.
  • Deploy applications to secret environment
  • Support Tier 2 and 3 tickets

Qualifications

Clearance Required: Active Top Secret

 

Degree and Years of Experience: BS degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience; additional experience in lieu of degree accepted.

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience in using Front end languages (expressJS / React preferred)

  • Experience in developing back end Java RESTFul services

  • Experience using scripting language (Python preferred)

     

  • Significant experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices

     

  • Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit or related testing tools

     

  • Direct experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo

     

  • Well versed with using version control systems

     

  • Well versed with using issue/problem tracking systems

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience developing DevOps infrastructure using GitHub, Jenkins and related tools.
