Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Network Security Engineer on a 10 year contract providing Network and Cybersecurity services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, inclusive of new facilities and building constructions to support the IC mission. 

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with design, analysis, testing and implementation of state-of-the-art secure network architectures.
  • Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for design.
  • Manages WAN, LAN, CAN, and remote network security as well as incident and problem management.
  • Oversees security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration. (firewalls, F5 load balancers, web gateways, mail gateways, IDS, and management tools).
  • Oversees the reporting, documentation, and investigation of all security related incidents; leads the development and implementation of corrective measures.
  • Develops and executes standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security tools.
  • Evaluates and reports on new network Security technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
  • Acts as liaison to the contract and customer management, and government Designated Approving Authority (DAA) regarding network security status, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: Active or Reinstateable TS/SCI required with ability to pass a CI poly

 

Degree and Years of Experience: BA/BS Degree and 6 years experience of related technical experience in Network Security with large-scale enterprise/global networks in high-paced, diverse environment.

 

Required Certifications:

  • DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliant certification (current)
  • Must be able to successfully obtain/maintain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days of start date (post-hire)

Required Skills:

  • Firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, etc.)
  • Routers/Switches (e.g. Juniper, Cisco, etc.)
  • Intrusion Detection Systems / IDS Products (e.g. FireEye, F5 Load Balancer, Cisco FTD, etc.)
  • Unix, RHELS OS, Windows Enterprise AD, VMware
