Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Project Scheduler on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

 

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Joins talented Implementation Management Team.  
  • Serves as a liaison between project managers and team leads.
  • Manages schedules, reviews project status, and understands how to assess project issues and developsresolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  
  • Actively monitors project progress with an emphasis on problem solving.
  • Closely collaborates with project managers, team leads, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Works closely with team leads to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded project schedules using MS Project 2016
  • Develops and maintains summary level schedule (Gantt) reports, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, near term tasks, priority based resource allocations, performance variances  
  • Supports the metrics team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects/programs  
  • Follows schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures  
  • Works in collaboration with project managers to drive efficiency in project execution and accuracy in project reporting  
  • Schedules estimating and updating for new work and remaining work  
  • Troubleshoots and monitors potential scheduling problems  
  • Maintains accurate records/paperwork  
  • Facilitates and participates in weekly schedule reviews  
  • Works outside of normal business hours as required to meet deadlines  

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI required with ability to pass a CI Poly

 

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent

  • 2+ years

Required Skills:

  • Excellent Problem Resolution skills
  • Great team and client interaction skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in gathering, analyzing, documenting and briefing information
  • Ability to effectively convey requirements, concerns and capabilities to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner

Desired Skills: 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification  
  • Good understanding of Earned Value methodology  
  • Experience in Medicaid or Healthcare Processing Systems  
  • MS Project Server experience (not required, highly desirable)
