Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Data Center Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer.  All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Develops computer systems specifications that fit with the government's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

• Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

• Responsible for installation and maintenance of storage, networking, and server hardware.

• Ensures availability of development systems to end users through continuous system monitoring and issue remediation.

• Applies required security updates and implementations mandated by DoD cyber security regulations.

• Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI 

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree  or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of related  experience
