Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Tableau Administrator/Data Visualization on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

 

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Configures and maintains Tableau Server Software Layer and System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance/Upgrades/patches).
  • Works with management to develop sustainable processes to govern the continued rollout of the Tableau toolset.
  • Changes management including software, hardware upgrades, patches Monitors server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing).
  • Facilitates change and innovation to legacy systems and processes
  • Utilizes expertise in information visualization and design to create and deploy new platforms and services for visualization initiatives.
  • Creates/Manages Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections.
  • Manages and supports migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards), from development to production environments.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to pass a CI Poly

 

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus

  • 8+ years experience

Required Skills: 

  • Assisting in the documentation of requirements and specifications
  • Developing required Tableau content reports and dashboards
  • Provide appropriate training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports, and Tableau Desktop.
  • Providing Hands-on training to a small subset of reporting individuals on a sustained basis with the intent to transfer report/dashboard development experience.
  • API development experience, to assist in the development and deployment of custom Tableau extensions.
