Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sr. Active Directory Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Accountable for the management, uptime, and lifecycle of the organizations Active Directory forests, domains, and Domain Controllers.
• Delivers and implements a secure, scalable, and resilient Active Directory design, following industry best practices while adhering to Information Security standards.
• Provides technical assistance and escalation support for all troubleshooting tasks related to AD, including but not limited to integration with Windows and non-Windows endpoints, authentication, role-based access controls, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Manages the environment proactively, anticipating risks and issues, designing and engineering for resiliency. Takes technical ownership of projects and systems accordingly.
• Facilitates the implementation of Group Policy Objects (GPO) based on stated requirements. Troubleshoots and resolves any GPO related issues which arise.
• Monitors and identifies replication interruptions between domain controllers.
• Management of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems and certificates.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with an ability to obtain CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree or or a combination of years of experience and education.

• 5+ years of experience.

Required Skills:

• Progressive roles from Active Directory Administrator to Sr. Engineer.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Powershell, Python, Bash, or Perl).
• In Depth understanding of Active Directory or LDAP authentication and administration.
• Advanced familiarity with enterprise directory synchronization tools such as Azure Active Directory Connect, Cisco Directory Synchronization, or others.

Desired Skills: 

• Experience migrating users and objects from disparate AD environments to new environments.
• Knowledge of custom Active Directory schema attributes.
• Experience administrating Azure Active Directory and single sign-on.
• Experience working in a fast tempo government agency production IT environment.
• Experience troubleshooting various Microsoft Windows Server platforms' roles and features.​
